Hello! I’m Leesa the owner and designer of Millie Couture, situated in the vibrant Money and Millie Studios in Salisbury, a stunning creative hub.

 

After earning my Fashion and Textile degree in 2003, I began my dressmaking journey at home, providing alterations for bridal boutiques. This experience allowed me to work London designers, leading me to design and create custom pieces while mastering pattern cutting for all shapes and sizes.

in 2018 I moved Millie Couture to Salisbury with Amy Money Millinery and the business has gone from strength to strength, not only in a beautiful building but working with a talented designer who makes up the dream team.

What is Couture and Made to Measure?**

Couture is a French term meaning "dressmaking" representing the art of crafting exclusive, custom-made high-end fashion. Made to measure refers to garments specially tailored to fit an individual perfectly.

 

**Why Choose Couture and Made to Measure?** I specialize in Couture bridal and special occasion wear, crafting every piece my design studio. While ready-to-wear gowns offer convenience, they often require alterations for the perfect. Couture and made-to-measure options ensure you achieve your ideal fit and involve you in the design process from the very beginning.

 

**Looking Ahead** With 25 years in the bridal industry, I also teach fashion design courses as a technical instructor My passion lies in creating beautiful, wearable art, from sketches to final fittings. I am excited to expand my Mother of the Bride collection, adding unique offerings not yet available in Wiltshire.
